I'm at a loss to explain why many Americans aren't incensed by all the misdeeds and corruption. For goodness sake, what will it take to get an impeachment or resignation from Trump and a thorough housecleaning and fumigation in Washington.
I think Seal Team 6 should do the patriotic thing and put Pete Hegseth in a boat in the Caribbean. Then Pete can experience obliteration by missile strike. If it works out they could move up the chain of command. Can you imagine the Baby in Chief all by himself in the middle of the ocean? How tough would he be then?

In a Very Red district that Trump won by 22 in 2024, the progressive only lost by 9. Even a non-progressive Dem wouldn't have won that district. Looks like the Dems are more and more likely to get the majority back, no matter where they lean in their own party.

Actually, the fact that a self-proclaimed democratic socialist brought the margin from 22 to 9 is remarkable. Imagine how a more mainstream Dem might have done. That's the way, IMHO, we should be looking at this: an incredible accomplishment in such a red, red district. But also, a really rotten omen for the R's, I suspect going forward. And Charlie, this lovely pic of the Christmas Boys should be a Christmas card for at least some of your friends and fam.
