Let's be absolutely clear: the Indiana Republicans accused of being RINOs are in truth the real Republicans. It's the MAGAs who are RINO's. Yet another case of their (MAGA) projection of their faults and fears on others. Thank God some Republicans are being brave and are beginning to stand up for what is right. I think Lindsey Graham’s spine was buried in John McCain’s coffin. Also amazing that the Trump party is so openly and publicly threatening their own people. Further proof that we are slipping towards authoritarian levels of corruption. Also, how are our kids being targeted with text messages of political nature? Need some investigative reporting to find out how big brother is doing that!
I’m glad Sen. Mike Bohacek showed real courage, but it is disheartening that he has only done so because he experienced first hand the president’s hatred directed toward one of his loved ones. Bohacek, who has a daughter with Downs, “was offended by Trump’s use of a slur for people with disabilities.” Where has he been when the president has said over the last 10 years the most vile things about all kinds of people. Was Bohacek fine with that since he was not part of a Gold Star family, doesn’t have a trans kid, isn’t an immigrant, knows no one from Haiti or Somalia, and doesn’t have any family members with physical disabilities, like the NYT reporter Trump mocked during his first campaign? Until it happened to him he was fine going along with all of this dreck?
What really struck me in this report is the fact that the Trump minions were able to get a whole basketball team’s worth of 8th grade boys’ cell phone numbers. My cell phone number is all over political lists, but 8th grade boys’ numbers? Who needs warrants when you have tech lords, I guess. Truly disturbing.
The bill still needs Senate approval to become law... and Trump's signature since there won't be enough votes to override. So unless the Supreme Court doesn't disappear other challenges to the Executive Order--- or just rule outright against Trump the Executive Order will be the law of the land.
With Covid45 being a lame duck, whose policies aren't very popular, it's not so surprising that some in the GQP have suddenly found their alleged spines.
