I had a short-lived father in law with a beautiful black lab, ( I'm not really a lab person, nor the retriever. I had a German short-haired pointer, liver and white, that's another story how I got the pup, But I went back to the pond, my young dog just stared when the lab would leap and swim, eventually a few years later he too get good in the water, what a hunter he was. Miss my dog, just cannot replace him, I cannot.
For Graham, at some point fairly early on, it stopped being about guiding Trump to make better decisions and then just being relevant. As Charlie notes, did it really do any good?

"If we nominate Trump , we will get destroyed........and we will deserve it" May 2016 . Claiming that statement from Lindsey Graham he still tied his wagon to the destructive team.. I'm not going to say more. Lindsey's character says it all. Rest in peace.
I doubt very much that Lindsey will meet John McCain as he will most likely be in a completely different place joining others that also sold their soul.
Just a hypothetical. If Iran was bait... The US is using up all its big ordnance pretty quickly. Once gone, and China/Russia/North Korea or anyone else who has quietly hated the US and its restricions can move. Do whatever they want in the world.
Lindsey was in the closet too long. Everyone and his brother knew he was gay. Why he kept up the pretense was silly. He was a suck up ultimately. He was always happy to send other men to die in stupid wars. Maybe he thought that made him look tough. It just showed poor judgment and total lack of empathy. Now South Carolina can elect a senator who will actually represent their best interests like no wars, cost of living, healthcare, return to basic decency.
I must say, well written. I posted that hideous Truth Social post on my Facebook and BlueSky pages. Attention United States Congress it is time to INSIST on a thorough psychiatric evaluation and when completed have the courage to invoke the 25th Amendment to the US Constitution, despite his loyal underlings.
Excellent as always Charlie. Lindsey is a tragic figure. So much potential for good that was squandered by terrible choices. I've made my own share of bad choices in my life too, but I've never been in a position where my choices affected the world. So I definitely don't consider myself a better person than Lindsey, but I was terribly disappointed and saddened by his support of Trump over the past 10 years. May God have mercy on his soul.
