At the National Prayer Breakfast, Trump offered a "Sir Alert" story, babbling about "We hit 'em, east, west, north, south. They won't know what the hell! And we'll knock them out."

To whom was he praying? To the great god of war Ares, son of Zeus?

I really appreciate the dog photos which I needed to see at the end of this horrid week. In my worst nightmare I would not have conjured up the current leadership of our beloved country.

And I read he spoke for 75 minutes. At breakfast. FFS. Did anyone walk out?

Jesus says in Mathew 22:21: “Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and unto God the things which are God’s.” I read this as the foundation, and no less from Christ himself, for the separation of church and state.

As a Gen-X guy, I am the statistical norm in that I was (and still am) a huge fan of the band Journey (at least the old stuff). And if you are too—well, you may already know this, but—guess where Paula White Cain's last name comes from. Yeah.

Yeah.

I was crushed when I found out. "What did that witch do to our Jonathan?", I thought at first. But that's just cope. He is who he is, and I just didn't know it. Nobody made him marry that harpy, and the fact that he did tells me something about him I wish I didn't know.

At least I know Neal Schon's still cool.

As I look down at my feet, it appears I am wearing Ruby Slippers. I'm not sure where they came from but I'm wondering: If I click my heels together, can I go home? I've had enough of this shitty Emerald City. The Wizard has been collaborating with the Wicked Witch of the West.

Well, I can definitely say that he who thinks he is the Orange Jesus has definitely increased my religious devotion by causing so many more people who need our prayers … the starving children, jailed children, sick children... I trust everyone reading this column is painfully aware of the ever lengthening list.

Rbt. Jeffries thinks that Trump is a strong messenger for Christianity? Messaging what? Of course, Jeffries hasn't been the finest representative for Christianity himself.

They should just fess up and say that they're hoping that Trump brings the Apocalypse and the End Times. I guess that's not politically correct . . .

I don't know what kind of a "faith" does that, but I hope I never meet one in a dark alley.

I read Mr. Wear's piece and it troubled me because I was under the impression that the National Prayer Breakfast welcomed all denominations. Is he correct in that it only welcomes Christians?

As for Ms White, in her religion trump finally found one he could believe in and embrace.

I checked and found this, saying all denominations plus Muslims and Jews attend. One year the Dalai Lama spoke, so Buddhists are welcome too.

The extended quote from “That Episcopal Priest” seems to describe Speaker Johnson very well.

I loved your comment about the fact that he doesn't even bother to hide his contempt for all people, even the ones supposedly on his side.

Why doesn’t he use speech writers? He just stands there are babbles nonsense and insults people. Every talk is like that.

Paula White Cain introduces Trump as "the GOAT." Interesting since the goat is considered a symbol of Satan.

Despite the fact that our Grifter in Chief is a con man and anything but a follower of Christ and his teachings, I found this column both totally true and still utterly disturbing. God will have the last say as to this man’s final judgment as He will with all of us, but my impatient human nature wants to see how it will happen NOW!

The brazen way he mocks and uses Christianity is beyond my comprehension. I have never witnessed another human being with such evil intentions and corruption that is in a position of power in my shy of 70 yr life.

My heart mourns for the lost souls that have been blinded by this horrible being and continue to support him.
