Awhile back on Bluesky I commented that I was more qualified than Ms Gabbard for the USDI post. I was not aware she has no experience in Intelligence. So I guess my GG-14 time is more qualifying. Not that I want the job or am I remotely qualified.

In the field of psychology, we do learn to be at least somewhat aware of body language and affect. When I look into Kash Patel’s eyes, what I see scares the shit out of me. This is the response we all should have. Yet, the trumpers seem resolved to lead us all straight into the depths of hell.

Data shows those who don’t follow politics are more likely to vote Trump.

The elephant in the room throughout the country is the gross lack of challenge against lies, mis-statements and distortions spewed by Trump, Republican leadership and the MAGA thing overall.

These pronouncements are typically delivered boldly, in sound bite form , and are easy to consume on the fly. Especially by voters who buy into emotional grievance.

Given Trumps small victory margin it begs the question; how much of his win was due to lies, especially in swing states where local media was pummelled with ads to push lies and distortions!

I will miss some of Paramount’s programming but not enough to keep my subscription if they settle.

I object to targeting Cassidy Hutchinson. She is too hot to be a target.

I see from the pictures that Charlie and his Mrs's got the "Wolf security" package. Fast & agile response on the outside. Large & muscular response for the inside of the home. Near 24/7 security.

(Naps and car rides excluded.) 😁😊🐾⚡️💪

Charlie, I knew trump and co were busy dismantling everything, but my nurse practitioner daughter mentioned today that the CDC website that she uses multiple times a day at work has been shut down. 😡

Thank you for your writing. I enjoy it. I'm 78 and was a lifelong Republican until trump was nominated. I could never vote for such a despicable human. My question is: I'm curious how you , as well known former Republican, feel about politicians who have just melted into trump? Can these people not get another job or is it just the power? I mean a House member- really? Thank you!

Umm- TC has used the word, but it was Cory Doctorow who used it first. At length. In his articles in Locus. But keep using it , no matter the attribution, because it’s perfect.

If Senators are not actually potted plants....."

Funny how little things have changed--

In the words of the late Molly Ivins in reference to a Texas state legislator way back when: “If his IQ slips any lower, we’ll have to water him twice a day.”

Would it be possible, sir, to use links to stories without using the Washington Post? I canceled my subscription with them (as well as Prime & do not go to Whole Foods) and would rather not support them
