Thanks, Charlie, for including the line by Kevin Williamson that deserves the "Best Literary Reference Quote of the Day Award":

"George Orwell (I hope he is pleasantly surprised by his position in the afterlife) is somewhere laughing his immortal ass off."

You may want to cover in an upcoming session, the recent revelation about American Debt and that this has now become the chief reason why DOGE is stripping the Civil Service bare. DOGE

will never find that kind of money to pay down the US Debt. It's a smoke screen for finding the funds to provide Tax Breaks for the Wealthy.

We know that Drumpf and Musk want to see first hand how much Gold Bullion is in Fort Knox...I doubt that their intention is to pay down the US Debt...but more so to move to their own vaults. Banks Beware!!

I believe a good portion of gold has already been shipped out to reduce the debt from previous administrations.

What I do know however is that The USofA is in Debt to Foreign Countries to the tune $7.9 Trillion. The USofA is in huge Debt Overall as the $7.9 Trillion represents just 12.9% of its Total Debt.

Your readers should also know that the US owes Japan $1.1 T, China $749 B, U.K. $690 B, Luxembourg $373 B and get this the US OWES CANADA $328 Billion. It's the complete reverse of what Drumpf claims daily about Canada owing the US. He claims that Canada is subsidised by the US...this is a TOTAL FALLACY.

Drumpf obviously doesn't understand the difference between 'Subsidization' and a 'Trade Deficit'. The USofA does not subsidize Canada. The fact is that the US purchases $100 B more in products and resources from Canada than Canada purchases from the US. It stands to reason since the US Population is 340million compared to Canada at 41.5million.

The US simply needs more product, more food, more energy, more vehicles, more wood & more steel & aluminium. That's simply called 'COMMON SENSE'!

How is it that the so called GREATEST DEAL MAKER EVER doesn't understand the rudimentary principles of ECONOMICS...he obviously missed these lessons in school or missed these while running his real estate empire...as he had others do all the hard work for him...THUS YOUR FALSE and CHAOTIC PROPHET!

The above is a re-write...as I needed to be a bit more succinct. Continue the great coverage Charlie...Truth to Power Brother!!

What on earth Zelensky thinks he is gaining from this deal is a mystery. You can't even call it a shakedown because Ukraine gets the same consideration (zero) regardless. What does Ukraine need with a Reconstruction Investment Fund where only after Insane Clown takes his "maximum financial interest allowed by US law" (is there any such law?) can the remainder (if any) be used for "future development of Ukraine" when he could just use the entire funds directly for such development. This is An Offer You Have To Refuse Unless You Are A Fucking Idiot. Insane Clown is looking for new states. Zelensky should just apply for statehood.

“We will not act like the previous administration who looked the other way as the Antifa and BLM rioters as well as thugs with guns trashed our capital city.”

Didn't that happen on Trump’s watch?

Does anyone else notice that "DOGE" sounds like something that came out of Homer Simpson's mouth?

Or, more aptly, Andy Borowitz submits a new and improved version:

Many thanks for your excellent coverage of the many facets to the Drumpf Incursion on Democracy and Justice.

I believe that Martin’s statement regarding the representation of the president and not the people of the US and his vigilant efforts to suppress speech is enough to file an ethics complaint with the bar association and threaten disbarment for violating his oath to the constitution when he was sworn in.

Throw monkey-wrenches wherever possible.

Exactly what I've been saying. Thank you for mentioning. I think that any lawyer or judge who is bar-licensed (some judges aren't) should be disbarred for a variety of reasons that The American Bar Association recommends as ethical guidelines. Of course, an actual legal license is less valued in Trump 2.0, but even his type of lawyer must be licensed to appear and argue in court.

Also recommended: law schools who passed these frauds should publicly denounce their legal malpractice. Go for the legal jugular.

Sorry your household is under the weather. 🙏❤️

djt will never forgive Zelensky for not bending the knee and for Zelensky being a better man and more admired than djt.

I have to disagree with you that musk is an idiot. He did successfully buy the American presidency and the right of first refusal at the trough of taxpayer money. musk is gagging on our tax dollars an and he’s about to get more. He bought djt’s services for a bargain basement price and you take that in the way it was intended.

If I had said the following on January 19, I would have believed I was a conspiracy theorist: We will probably not have mid-term elections. djt will want to hang on to his current crop of doormats and musk can afford to pay the maga caucus doormats on the same basis he bought djt’s services. Then the maga caucus can do what it does best, just ignore musk as he transitions to CEO of the U.S on a permanent basis. (Comic relief: susan collins can clutch her pearls and declare she is “concerned”. )

On January 19 I would have said I was a conspiracy theorist.
