I truly hope the Senate recognizes how dangerous it will be to politically weaponize the FBI. If allowed to proceed, this senseless distraction of vital resources will only make our country more vulnerable to adversaries, foreign and domestic.

Where are historical examples of how citizens defeated enemies lists? McCarthy's and Nixon's liss persevered for several years.
