What rational politician would overtly advocate for folks whose first action was the criminally illegal entry into the United States https://torrancestephensphd.substack.com/p/from-al-green-to-alex-padilla

Seems there’s a few people here on Substack that feel the senator should be arrested and censored!!!!

Oh my gosh, I wish there was a way to block them

"with every reaction and non-reaction from members of Congress"

Yes, every NON-REACTION matters too!

And Pete, dear, sweet Pete! The love and loss of a dog is like no other. He had the perfect "parents."

Two Minnesota DFL lawmakers were shot in their homes last night by a white man impersonating a police officer. The attacks on lawmakers are escalating. We are heartbroken in Minnesota. Well, at least decent people are. The maga contingent maintains that the victims deserved it due to their politics and they also blame Gov Walz.

RE: "We should have no illusions that, in fact, this ratchet has moved today and is moving in real time right now with every reaction and non-reaction from members of Congress, who refuse to stand up for one of their colleagues who was doing a job for his constituents, the job that he was elected to do in his home state," he continued. "So every moment that passes, that line is moving."

Why would anyone think they would stand up for a colleague when they didn’t stand up for themselves after January 6? How many Republicans gave Trump a pass for attacking their workplace while they were there working?

On the Eve of No Kings protest, the (faux birthday party for Trump) 250th celebration of the Army (just stop and think about that!), the presence of the first American Pope, the unrest in our states, country, souls… I’m numb and tired.

Maybe the fierce passion of resistance all these months has worn me down. I don’t know what I will wake up to tomorrow… there’s a real possibility that Trump’s agitators will create a provocation somewhere in the peaceful presence of protest, which gives Trump the excuse he’s been waiting for - to slap martial law on this country.

It’s all part of His plan. My plan is to get up tomorrow, grab the signs we made, go to our location and be together with our Patriot community. The struggle continues. We know what Our goal is.

Per Sen Padilla, he had been sitting in the back of the room during the press conference, but hot to his feet and asked a question.

For the MAGA grifters, I understand the response. They are pot committed at this point.

For the Christians like Mike Johnson, I don’t understand. Does he no longer believe in the 10 Commandments? Does he skip #3 when he reads them? What about heaven and hell?

This is not an administration. That implies some sort of competency. It is a regime. How about all of us start referring to it in that way.

The unmentioned factor is that Padilla is a brown-skinned Latino. Of course ICE thugs jumped him immediately. I can't blame him at all for interrupting the presser to ask a question, because did you hear what Noem was saying? She was calling for regime change in California by military force. If I had been there, I would have jumped up and yelled "what the F**K??!!". I should also point out that Padilla has an office in that building, and presumably the FBI and Secret Service were aware of that (unless they are utterly incompetent), and would also recognize hm by sight.
