I finally went back to finish this podcast because I am such an admirer of Paul. I feel his frustration. He was on a panel recently on MSNBC . Paul was trying to tell the other Democratic panelists that the rank and file were very angry at their lack of doing nothing and he was just pooh poohed. I know he wanted to blow up but really contained himself. My dream is that every elected official who has a leadership position in the Democratic Party from New York just leave ! I am talking Schumer,Jeffries, Hochul and the dopes who are supporting Cuomo. What is wrong with these Democrats ? And don’t get me started on the Democratic National Committee. I heard the new chairman went on a listening tour. I agree with Paul that a leader will come out of the unknown- I just hope it is soon.
With Trump I always try to connect the dots within the chaos. I do this at some peril as it can lead to conspiracy theories of which we already have more than enough. So apologies in advance but here goes:
In the same week as the disgraceful televised ambush of Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, Trump found time to introduce the “right” kind of immigration policy -a gold (of course) card that offers a pathway to citizenship that only the most fortunate truly deserve. When asked if Russian oligarchs would be eligible Trump was practically gleeful in boasting that those cool dudes would indeed be welcome.
Trump claimed that his shakedown of Ukraine need not include any promise of actual security. The mere existence of American investment is worth far more than the US military or so he claims.
Do you see where I’m headed? So if Igor the oligarch were to desire to become a US citizen and brought his crypto piggy bank from Moscow (what sanctions?) he might choose to invest that $5 million in a new American company specializing in ore extraction. And being a regular in Palm Beach his company quickly becomes a favorite to pursue projects in heart of Ukraine. So why would Ukraine ever have any cause to believe that US economic interests would mean security of its borders? The opportunities for Russians to take advantage of the “deal” are in plain sight.
We really are becoming a third world country that only the worst will want to align with.

C'mon, Charlie. Take that sweet girl dog home. The boys will appreciate some female energy. And as to how we are now the bad guys, I refuse to wear that moniker. I stand with Ukraine. I stand for a values and competence-based Cabinet and military. I hope Paul is right that the troops will do the right thing when push comes to shove.
I have never been more disappointed in the democratic party than I am at this moment in time. This crisis, this CRISIS takes balls...............my party lost its damn balls!!

DOGE is simply a blind where Republican lawmakers hide.
Republican lawmakers are hiding behind Elon Musk as cuts hurt their own constituents.
The moral imperative is with Ukraine.
