We are an inch from living in a Mike Meyers movie, (Austin Powers) complete with Dr. Evil and “sharks with fricking laser beams attached to their heads.”

Trump News and movie clips, one big scrambled mashup. It’s all reality, folks.

"It represents something that's both horrible and beautiful, strong and miserable, weak, it's got a lot of qualities that are interesting"

WTF?!?! Time to send Trump to the old people's home!

...and here I thought he was still mad about our anti-Trump chicken balloon tugboat to Alcatraz protest from last year.

Trump is caught in his adoration of Hollywood. Crazy old man, and they're treating him like he's sane.

"The Birdman of DC" . . . I still say my fav clip is when the American eagle attacked dear Donald in the Oval Office. It's like the Four Seasons/Giuliani thing... if you need a quick laugh, reimagine either.

He's no longer funny. He's pathetic and should be in an elder facility.

Not to wander instantly into weeds or otherwise stand-up a back-n-forth dispute in the comment-sphere... But I very much doubt returning Alcatraz to its original purpose - only BIGGER, BETTER & MORE BEAUTIFULLY!!! - could be accomplished for a mere several hundred million dollars.

Think instead multiples of that conjectured sum... For one thing, 're-opening' Alcatraz likely means first demolishing what's there - given its age; decrepitude; and architectural/engineering obsolescence. Then, and whatever the case, building a replacement on a frikkn ISLAND in the middle of San Francisco Bay. Moreover, and not just because the jurisdictions involved are both waterfront and on the mainland, Californian, Environmental Impact assessments and inevitable litigation could take a decade.

If Donald is determined to BUILD SOMETHING! ... SOMEWHERE! ...he'd be better served returning his attention to a ballroom for the White House. And, that elaborate terrace, with cherubim fountains, he intends for the Rose Garden. You know, just like at MaL.

It's agreed that this is totally bonkers, but it worked for the Mango Caligula as a distraction from the other news yesterday that the UAE is investing $2 billion in the Trump family's biggest grift, being the crypto business that they've set up. I thought there were rules about presidents having financial conflicts of interest, but not any more. America becomes more and more of a shithole country with each passing day of Trump. Sad.
